Mr. Mohan Raikar chairman of Devaki ramkrishna Raikar Charitable trust donated Rs. 6 Lakhs for naming the hall in the new building.

Entrepreneurship Development program(EDP) in partnership with National institute of entrepreneurship and small business development (NIESBUD) Sanjeevan organized the above program from 11th march 24 to 26th march 24. It was inaugurated by the Vice chairman of GCCI. There were 20 participants who were trained free of cost 18 resource person were invited for the program.

Sanjeevan in collaboration with Bandora Biodiversity Management Committee organized an E- waste collection drive in the jurisdiction of Village Panchayat of Bandora from 24/02/2024 to 03/03/2024.

The new project of our extension building was started with Bhumi Pujan on 16.04.18 at the hands of Mrs. Jyoti Dhavalikar in the presence of Mr. Mithil Dhavalikar, Sarpanch Ramchandra Naik and Z. P. Panchayat Mrs. Chitra Phadte was also present on this occasion.

Women’s Day

On 08.04.18 women's day was celebrated in the presence of Mrs. Sandhya Kamat, B.D. O officer Mr. Prasiddh Nayak, Dr. Anupama Kudchadkar, Mrs. Jyoti Kunkolikar , Prof. Smita Bhandare , Dr. Arti Dinkar , Dr. Nutan Dev, Mr. Kamalkar Sadhale, Mrs. Rekha Joshi, Panch Mr. Ramchandra Naik, Mrs. Alka Damle. Mrs. Sandhya Kamat had given nice talk on how to solve garbage problem and various producers. She also answered the queries of the public present at the function.


Ms. Kushi Saigal Visit

On 19.06.18 Ms. Kushi Saigal visited along with her mother Mrs. Sudha Lolekar and her brother Manav Saigal and her grandmother Ms. Shankutala lolyekar from USA . She was kind enough to donate 5250/- dollars which she collected by selling doughnuts.

AROGYADHAM

Inaugurated on 12th November 2006 and housed in Sanjeevan Complex, AROGYADHAM is a convalescent (Recovery) Home providing nursing care to patients (female). The Home is fully equipped with state of art hospital beds, Doctor, Nurses, Trained staff and other equipment required for such a facility.


NANDADEEP

Nandadeep is a retirement/holiday home (Vanprashth Ashram) for elderly women/couples above the age of 50 years. Apart from living a life in comfort and solitude on the one hand, women also experience community living and also contribute their valuable time and experience to various social, cultural and educational activities conducted by Sanjeevan from time to time.


Florence Nightingale's of Goa

The home nurses trained at the training centre at SYD are providing care for people in their homes, such as those recovering from illness, an accident, childbirth and old age people. The core and primary service is critical to the semi-and non-ambulant patients recuperating at home.


WINTER'S DONATION, GERMANY

India has exceptionally high rates of child malnutrition, because tradition in India requires that women eat last and least, after looking after their husbands and men folk in the household, even during pregnancy and while lactating.


MAHILA ADHAR KENDRA

This is a temporary refuge for girls and women who are in need of shelter due to family problems, divorce or psychological imbalance. 25 women including girls were given shelter during the reporting period.

The problem of educated unemployed youth has gripped India and the number of educated unemployed is increasing day by day.


CHERYSH INSTITUTE FOR WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

With a view to promoting education, employment & employability, SYD in collaboration with CherYsh Foundation and the Goa College of Home Science has recently launched The CherYsh Institute of Women Empowerment.


SELF HELP GROUPS- Assistance in formation & running of a self help group

SYD has assisted in the formation of seventeen self help groups comprising women in and around Ponda Taluka. Guidance is provided in areas of production and marketing of various products.


Working Women & Girls Hostel

Hostel facility is available for woman/ girls studying or working in and around Ponda City. Several woman/girls studying or working in nearby educational institutions have benefitted from this facility.
